Melissa Wasserman, PsyD's expertise and passion lie in working with military connected individuals in both research and clinical capacities.

Melissa Wasserman, PsyD received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University. Her expertise and passion lie in working with military connected individuals in both research and clinical capacities.

She currently is completing her postdoctoral fellowship at the UCLA/VA Veteran Family Wellness Center, where she delivers telehealth resilience training and develops innovative programming for military-connected families. Dr. Wasserman did her pre-doctoral internship at the UCLA Semel Institute, where she received specialized training in working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma. Her dissertation evaluated the relationship between psychological symptoms, family functioning, and religious coping in second- and third-generation Holocaust survivors.

She is a serious dog lover and has a rescue pit bull named Remy.
