I had run through my savings and had to borrow money to pay rent and my car note.
Greetings,
My name is Kathy and I am a recent recipient of a rental assistance grant. You will never understand the positive effect your generosity has had on my life.
Things were looking up. Then, without warning, my contract was rescinded.
I assure you that my application was an example of a woman with nowhere else to turn in a situation that was out of my control. I relocated to Arizona almost four years ago. It was a fresh start. I had amassed modest savings and was working my dream job. After a year on the job, I moved into a lovely home. Things were looking up. Then, without warning, my contract was rescinded. I had no reason to expect it, as I had just been promoted to Lead Faculty.
No one would speak with me and my letter of appeal was rejected. And I was devastated. After a few months of job hunting which resulted in continued unemployment, I had run through my savings and had to borrow money to pay rent and my car note.
I intend to donate to Resident Relief Foundation once I secure full-time employment
It was at that time, that I learned there was potential help from your organization to save me from impending homelessness. This grant was a Godsend and I appreciate it very, very much. I intend to donate to Resident Relief Foundation once I secure full-time employment.
Again, I thank you for your consideration and assistance. May God bless you all.

Without something like this a lot of families that are trying but just need a little hand up would be left to fall further behind causing greater harm.
There have been very few things that made me cry in my lifetime. I don’t know what would have happened without their (Resident Relief) aid but I am beyond thankful every single day.
I’m thankful the Resident Relief program exists. It is simply miraculous that a group of people are out there that will help people who are temporarily having a really hard time.
