I Thought I Had It All Together

Above all things, I am grateful for the wealth of knowledge that you have provided me.

To whom it may concern:

It took me a moment to think of the words to say to express the overwhelming sense of gratitude within my heart for you all and what you are doing for those that have fallen on hard times.

I was placed at rock bottom in order to face the shovel that I used to dig my way there.

To begin, I am in a position that I truly never envisioned myself being in. Resident Relief Foundation not only supported me by providing aid, but truly by forcing me to look at the steps that I took to land in this situation. I was placed at rock bottom in order to face the shovel that I used to dig my way there.

Prior to this situation, I thought I had it all together.

As I expressed over the phone, I was beyond grateful prior to the approval of the grant.

I was grateful because for the first time in my life I was forced to sit down and learn about money; learn about who I have been with money, learn about money itself, and learn who I can/want to become with money. That is knowledge that ironically, money can not truly buy. Prior to this situation, I thought I had it all together, I thought I was taking all of the right steps in order to not land exactly where I found myself, at the bottom, seeking a way up… Here I was and here you were.

I am truly, truly grateful to this relief fund. I am grateful for the rental assistance of course, but above all things, I am grateful for the wealth of knowledge that you have provided me. Thank you all for taking the steps to do what you have done, thank you all for creating this fund, thank you all for not just attempting to place a band-aid on a very serious wound.

I am deeply appreciative and I will pay this forward in whatever way the divine aligns. Thank you again for supporting me, my daughter, and those that I will spread this blessing to!

Sincerely, with gratitude,

Rayven
