Finding this organization saved my family from eviction even though both my wife and I work corporate jobs.
To whom it may concern,
I want to thank you from the very bottom of my heart for deciding to approve my family and me for a rental grant to allow us the opportunity to stay in our apartment. We have lived in the same apartment complex for the past 4 years and have paid our rent on time up until recently. We were in a horrific car accident right before the pandemic started in 2020 and it completely ruined my family financially. We were saving money and utilizing our credit appropriately and trying to build security for our family, and we lost our car, my wife lost both of her jobs and was severely injured, and it put tremendous pressure on our finances for the past 2 years as a result. We have been “robbing Peter to pay Paul” for the greater portion of those years and it has caused more stress than words can define.
Needless to say, the last 2 years have been very difficult to go through
I am a hardworking father, who is a Franchise Manager of the number one Icebox Cryotherapy studio in the nation and I pride myself on my ability to provide for my family so needless to say, the last 2 years have been very difficult to go through. I thought we were completely out of options when we were faced with our housing crisis, as we are still waiting for litigation for our lawsuit and the debt has continued to accrue. Finding this organization saved my family from eviction even though both my wife and I work corporate jobs and have lived in the same complex for 4 years. It means the world to me that donors like yourselves have taken the time and resources to help families like ours. We are still building our family up which takes time, but we make too much money to receive government assistance so if it was not for this grant I do not know where my family would be right now.
It is truly a blessing that this organization exists
My wife and I have a beautiful 4-year-old daughter who by the grace of God has not had to witness or feel the struggles that we both faced growing up. It is truly a blessing that this organization exists and is helping hardworking families like mine get back on their feet after being dealt a tough hand.

I also really appreciate the fact that throughout this process I have been able to educate myself and my wife on financial literacy and learn things that will help us prevent ourselves from being in a position like this ever again. We have so much potential, and I am excited to continue the work we started with the eVolve course and pay it forward by making sure we never need a grant again.
