We are so thankful we were referred to your foundation by our apartment manager!
Dear Board Members,
My wife and I would like to express our deepest gratitude for the help you gave us in keeping our home. We are both hardworking, responsible people who understand how important it is to manage our money wisely and be prepared for any unexpected expenses. However, we could not have planned for a pandemic of this size and these uncertain times, which eventually led to our business failing. Due to this, our business expenses kept piling, with no returns on our investment, depleting our savings and eventually putting us in a bad financial situation. We weren’t sure how we were going to continue paying our rent along with all of our bills, but we are thankful we were referred to your foundation by our apartment manager.
We could not have planned for a pandemic of this size and these uncertain times, which eventually led to our business failing.
After we submitted our application, we were really happy to hear back from you. Although we knew we weren’t the only ones going through tough times, we were hopeful your foundation may be able to help us. From the beginning, the RRF team was understanding of our situation and provided us with resources and tools to better our financial situation in the future. Throughout the whole process, they kept us informed on what the next steps were for getting the help we needed. They were compassionate, honest, and supportive which meant a lot to us at the time.
With your help, we were able to pay our rent and avoid eviction. Your dedication to help us has made an impact on our lives and we will forever be grateful for the support your foundation has provided us. Now, we can continue to move forward without struggling to keep a roof over our head!

We exist to be the bridge that helps responsible residents stay in their homes during a singular, unexpected financial emergency.
Whether it’s a temporary job interruption, an auto accident, a medical emergency, a victim of a natural disaster, or something else, our desire is to provide qualified residents with housing stability during a chaotic time and help them avoid eviction, a forced move, or, worse, becoming homeless.
