We All Have Goals in Life...

You not only helped me with my rent but to also gain more knowledge about how to repair my credit.

November 2018

Here’s a note from our 50th grant recipient:

I wanted to take the time to thank everyone on the Board and all who were involved with the entire process to approve me for the help I received with my rent for the month of December. You were able to assist me when I fell short due to my surgery which was itself, a goal accomplished sooner than expected.

I tried different paths to getting help with my rent and heard many “No’s.”

We all have goals in life and whether they are big or small, and when you reach that goal it is a great accomplishment. I have been working on a goal all year in order to have this much-needed surgery but I achieved the goal much sooner which required me to have the surgery sooner and before I had finished saving for the short time off of work. I am trying my best to get out of debt and as I was striving for that, along the way came this bump. I was unsure how I was going to get through it but with my faith and belief in God, I knew He would help me find a way. I tried different paths to getting help with my rent and heard many “No’s.”

I told my manager (Wasatch Property Management) about my situation. Nicole mentioned your organization. I had never heard of an organization like yours so I am eternally grateful to you both. In that moment, I felt hope and I went into this with prayer and a good attitude.

I truly thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You not only helped me with my rent but to also gain more knowledge about how to repair my credit, get my credit scores up and gain more financial knowledge to become stable and get ahead on life to accomplish more goals.

I’m working on myself to be able to do things on my own without having to ask for a handout. I know it starts with me and I’m going to strive and set the bar high to be secure financially. Thank you also for believing in me and trusting me with being responsible.

Thank you again!
