It truly showed me that there are people that are willing to help those who may be in need.

Brian is a 32-year-old husband and father of 2 girls and postal carrier in Texas. When they switched over to a new payroll system, his entire check was accidentally deposited to his TSP (Thrift Savings Plan) and if you know anything about those, it’s almost impossible to get it refunded at all let alone quickly. He was in need of some assistance with his rent to get him back on track and keep him from being evicted. With no one else to help him, his property manager Pinnacle referred him to us. We were able to qualify him for that partial grant. He writes:
“First off, I’d like to say thank you to the Resident Relief Foundation for providing me an opportunity to stay afloat in these tough times. I especially want to thank the staff for all of their help and support. They made the process flow as smoothly as possible.
Because of your generous support, I have decided to pay it forward and have since assisted and helped others with financial woes as well.

At some point, we all fall down but it’s much easier to get up when you have help from such an amazing organization. So once again, Thank You from the bottom of my heart!”

Without something like this a lot of families that are trying but just need a little hand up would be left to fall further behind causing greater harm.
There have been very few things that made me cry in my lifetime. I don’t know what would have happened without their (Resident Relief) aid but I am beyond thankful every single day.
I’m thankful the Resident Relief program exists. It is simply miraculous that a group of people are out there that will help people who are temporarily having a really hard time.
