You Helped Me Avoid Homelessness

I am going to continue using the financial literacy E-Learner to help me to stay on track for better spending habits.

Dear Resident Relief Foundation (Review Board):

I Giovanni and my mother would like to say thank you for your generous help for the rental assistance grant that you guys provided.

This is definitely a big relief off of my shoulders.

I’m very happy and appreciative for this grant because it definitely helped me out from becoming homeless, having to deal with the eviction process with the courts and worrying about how I was gonna come up with the money that I owed to my property manager.

This is definitely a big relief off of my shoulders and now I can breathe normal and stop stressing about rent because this experience has really been tough on me.  It really taught me to SAVE in case of an emergency in the near future because I don’t wanna end up in the same predicament that I am in now and it really showed me to never give up and to keep trying no matter what.

It really taught me to SAVE in case of an emergency in the near future because I don’t wanna end up in the same predicament.

Lastly, I am going to continue using the financial literacy E-Learner to help me to stay on track for better spending habits, better money management skills and overall making good judgment calls whenever I’m dealing with money because now I know how to adapt to survival mode when things go south.

So again I wanna say a big THANK YOU to the review board for working with my case and also a thank you to your staff for encouraging me not to give up and to keep pushing no matter what.

Thank you!

Happy holidays to all!

On February 4, 2021, we received another note from Giovanni:

Hi guys – Happy new year!!

I’m just updating you all since the last time we spoke via email…  Things are kinda getting better for the most part and I do wanna follow up with you guys about my job searches.

I applied for the position “Assistant Chef” with Resorts World here in Las Vegas.  I completed 3 on-demand videos and waiting for a Department interview and hoping I’ll get chosen for the position so my fingers are crossed.

Also, the assistant manager where I live told me they are looking for someone to hire temporarily so I will be applying for that position.

Oh yeah! I have started my own catering business to have extra income to make sure I’m secured to pay bills etc.

I’m definitely gonna update you guys in the near future with my progress!!

And yet another on August 8, 2021:

Hope all is well!

Everything is great! I’m constantly getting catering orders and I even had to hire people to help which is crazy because I never thought I would be hiring people.

I’m so happy because I would never have thought my catering business would actually boom doing Covid.

I received my first celebrity client that works for {redacted} as his personal barber. I’ll be catering for a party of 100 and I’m so excited!

Everything is going pretty good. I’m even staying on top of paying my rent on time and making sure I’m not delinquent. Thanks for checking up!
