I truly appreciate all that you all have done! The work you all are doing is truly saving lives!

December 30, 2020
To Resident Relief Foundation –

Thank you. Those two words merely seem like moths to the flame of what you all have done for me and my son, Josiah.

2020 has robbed so many people of their health, their wealth, and their livelihood. I am no exception to this. I lost my job in March due to layoffs and the government failed me in terms of unemployment. There were many days I had no idea how my son would eat or get diapers. 2020 dared me to be creative with the little resources that I had. Dare I say, I learned how to use an air fryer and I got to spend an immeasurable amount of time bonding with my son. Even through the struggle, we persisted and remained steadfast in our faith.

As a single mom, this grant allowed me to start anew with a clean slate and I look forward to reclaiming my life and my finances in 2021.

I truly believe that God sustained myself and my son through the many waves of this year. And I also truly believe that God created true angels on Earth in the form of Resident Relief Foundation to help those in need. Your staff communicated with me fervently throughout the entire application process, celebrated this win with me, and I could never thank you enough for your help. The board and the donors truly are heaven-sent. As a single mom, this grant allowed me to start anew with a clean slate and I look forward to reclaiming my life and my finances in 2021.

My son and I are forever indebted to you all for this gift and we will spend the rest of our days paying it forward. Thank you all so much from the bottom of both of our hearts and Happy Holidays!
