This foundation gave us something worth far more than rental assistance.
We often receive notes of gratitude and relief when a rental assistance grant is given allowing the tenant to avoid eviction and get back on their feet. This note, however, was entirely different.
THANK YOU!!
Growing up, I, nor my fiance’, had (what seems to be a luxury) financial advice/guidance given to us. I was never taught to budget or spend wisely. We have made so many mistakes because of that and I’m ashamed to even admit half of them.
When I reached out to your foundation, I never imagined that I would get, not only what I asked for, but so much more! The financial course took me 4-1/2 days to finish. I took so many notes and I would redo anything that was less than a 90%. That course gave me SO much!
We did a mock budget together!
After I finished, I taught my son what I learned, even having him read through some of the courses, and we did a mock budget together. This foundation gave us something worth far more than rental assistance. You gave us the tools and guidance to be financially smart, financially stable, and financially healthy and we cannot thank you enough!
Thank you from the bottom of hearts for bailing us out of debt with our landlord and the grip that financial instability had over us!!
Gratefully,
Megan and family

Some of the responsible tenants we have been able to help.
Without something like this a lot of families that are trying but just need a little hand up would be left to fall further behind causing greater harm.
There have been very few things that made me cry in my lifetime. I don’t know what would have happened without their (Resident Relief) aid but I am beyond thankful every single day.
I’m thankful the Resident Relief program exists. It is simply miraculous that a group of people are out there that will help people who are temporarily having a really hard time.
