We are forever grateful to you all. You saved us from being evicted and homeless. That extra added stress was unbearable for us.
Michael and Charmaine ran into some temporary financial challenges when she lost her income and was finally secured another job but they were not going to be able to pay their rent. They care for her disabled son and her elderly cousin so the disruption in housing would affect all 4 of them. They were actually facing the possibility of becoming homeless. Thankfully, their property manager at FPI Management referred them to us and we were able to help. Here’s a note they recently sent to us:
Dear members of the board,
Thank you for your help with rental assistance which was needed due to my wife being unemployed since November and the other members of our household only receiving social security so I have been the only one with a steady source of income.
We are forever grateful to you all. You saved us from being evicted and homeless. That extra added stress was unbearable for us.
My wife just got a full-time job on January 29th and will receive a small paycheck on the 10th and a full paycheck on February 25th 2019. We will be more than able to pay our rent and other expenses on time in the future once my wife starts receiving steady paychecks.
We will highly recommend your organization to others in need. We have already signed up for the financial program.
All four of us are sending our sincere gratitude to you all.

Without something like this a lot of families that are trying but just need a little hand up would be left to fall further behind causing greater harm.
There have been very few things that made me cry in my lifetime. I don’t know what would have happened without their (Resident Relief) aid but I am beyond thankful every single day.
I’m thankful the Resident Relief program exists. It is simply miraculous that a group of people are out there that will help people who are temporarily having a really hard time.
